I get the impression that tons of you watch every episode of your favourite TV show multiple times, and I don't necessarily mean over the course of months or years, I mean before the next episode airs.
That might be easier for people who watch fewer TV shows than I do, but even if I had the time I'm not sure I'd want to watch "Smallville" episodes more than once, certainly not within a week of seeing it for the first time. Certain shows lend themselves to repeat viewings -- I can watch "Friends" and "30 Rock" over and over again and never get sick of them, because comedy -- and I thoroughly enjoy showing people my TV shows when I get them on DVD. But otherwise I'm a love 'em and leave 'em kind of gal. (Huh. I'm actually like that with men too!)
Then there's when I really *love* an episode. So much so that I want to watch it again and again and again. But see, if I feel that strongly about it there's the chance that I will ruin it for myself by watching it too many times. And then I'll end up being all, "SIGH. I miss being madly in love with you. Why was I so greedy?"
So what's your stick?
